The Alpujarras is in two different Andalusian provinces, one part is Granada and the other is Almeria. It backs onto the Sierra Nevada and is truly wonderful to ride. As always I would recommend that you go there during the week or when it’s not peak holiday season.

UK TRIP 2022
This was my first real adventure on my trusty Gen1 Vstrom 650, Granada to Nottingam with 2 stops, one night in Pamploma and one in Le Mans. The conditions weren’t the best with the average tempreature being 35-42ºC, the 42ºC was in Bordeaux and to top it of there were forest fires so the motorway was closed. All of the traffic was diverted on to the old roads, which as you can imagine was a nightmare, because it added an extra 4 hours to my riding time. I was pushing hard because I hadn’t seen my family and friends for a long time due to Covid, so I went for it.
